Your Role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our Sustainability Team reporting directly to the Sustainability Director. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our sustainability initiatives forward focusing on certifications raw material circularity selection of ecofriendly materials and reducing the companys carbon footprint to achieve carbon neutrality.
The role is based in our HQ at Technogym Village (Cesena).
Your Impact
Carbon Footprint:Oversee endtoend development of the process (aligned with external standards such as ISO and GHG Protocol) TCFD Report and Product Carbon Footprints (PCF) / Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).
ESG Ratings:Manage approach and reporting process to third party ESG ratings (CDP S&P etc. including monitoring performance and recommending areas of improvements.
Certifications Management: Oversee the process of obtaining and maintaining relevant environmental certifications ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Raw Material Circularity: Develop strategies to promote circularity in our raw material usage including but not limited to recycling programs waste reduction initiatives and sustainable sourcing practices.
EcoFriendly Material Selection: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and implement materials that are environmentally friendly and contribute to the overall sustainability goals of the organization.
Technical Environmental and Product Relations: Serve as the technical expert on environmental matters providing guidance and support to internal teams on environmental regulations product sustainability and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders including suppliers customers and regulatory bodies to foster relationships and drive collective action towards sustainability objectives.
About You
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Experience in environmental engineering sustainability or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing sustainability initiatives preferably within a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations certifications and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment.
