Job Description

Job Title: Systems Integrator

At Babcock were working to create a safe and secure world together and if you join us you can play your part as a Systems Integrator at our Andover site.

The role

As a Systems Integrator youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. The aim of this role is to generate insights for decision support to improve and maintain equipment availability for the British Army.

Daytoday youll establish a strategic partnership with Babcock Corporate Services external partners and developers and the customer for the effective operation and integration of both existing and new tools and systems to drive decision support activity. Focussing on the facilitation of data improvement and providing valuable insights through specialist skills enabling evidencebased decision making and integration with customer systems and data & analytics initiatives.

  • Provide expert and proactive analytical direction and coherence across Land Defence Equipmentin relation to data quality tools and system integration.

  • Act as the subject matter expert for internal and external tools and systems and their integration for the Information Exploitation and Insights department ensuring a regular flow of highquality information that supports service delivery performance monitoring risk analysis transformation plans and decision making.

  • Elicit requirements from stakeholders and produce conceptual models.

  • Engage the Information and Insights teams to support systemised implementation of requirements.

  • Act as the data quality owner across LDE championing the benefits of a data driven culture and facilitates the datas adoption.


This is a full time role with 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Andover on a biweekly basis alongside home working arrangements.

Essential experience of the Systems Integrator

  • Demonstrable ability to understand business requirements and communicate business rules and data definitions.

  • Able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels in the business and in a variety of media.

  • Selfmotivated enthusiastic ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines through prioritising work and managing deadlines.

  • Strong experience within digital system integration.

  • Demonstrable ability to understand business requirements data definitions and produce reporting solutions that meet the needs of the business and yield actionable insights.

Qualifications for the Systems Integrator

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
