Operations Director based onsite in Florence KY

The Operations Director is responsible for leading and optimizing all aspects of factory operations ensuring efficiency costeffectiveness and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role drives operational excellence strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and profitability.

This role requires a resultsdriven leader who can balance strategic vision with handson to drive operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy: Oversee factory operations including electrical/mechanical assembly testing purchasing planning production and inventory control. Align daily operations with company objectives and customer expectations.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategies that enhance efficiency reduce costs and drive revenue growth while maintaining highquality standards.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a highperforming team ensuring crossfunctional collaboration performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as a key liaison with customers to enhance output yield and satisfaction through proactive communication and problemsolving.
  • Process Improvement: Drive change management initiatives implementing continuous productivity and costreduction programs. Identify opportunities for resource optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Financial Oversight: Set policies forecast revenue and capital expenditures and manage budgets to ensure financial health and sustainability.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Extensive experience in factory operations in manufacturing assembly or industrial environments.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to optimize operational costs and business performance.
  • Proven track record in change management process improvement and driving efficiency initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) and business analytics tools.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in operations with a strong track record of leadership process optimization and strategic in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Minimum of four 4 years of experience in a highvolume electronic manufacturing services (EMS) company.
  • Extensive experience working directly with customers and managing customer relationships.
  • Minimum of four 4 years of personnel management and team development experience.
