Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Flow Trading QA Engineer with experience in testing complex systems and business flows. The ideal candidate will have strong automation skills experience in building automation frameworks from scratch and expertise in Java Selenium SQL and other testing tools. This role involves writing scripts to automate testing creating tools for developers to test their own code and constantly designing better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems.

Overall Responsibilities:
- Write scripts to automate testing and create tools for developers to test their own code
- Navigate codebase identify weak spots and design better ways to break software
- Promote proper engineering practices bug prevention strategies and testability
- Build automation frameworks from scratch
- Collaborate with project managers product owners and team members
Technical Skills:
Primary Skills:
- Test Automation and Testing Tools experience (e.g. Selenium TestNG JUnit Cucumber)
- Scripting/programming experience in Java/Python and PL/SQL
- Expertise in Java for building automation frameworks
- Expertise in Selenium and SQL
- Serverside automation using Java
Secondary Skills:
- Experience or knowledge of Fixed Income trading (good to have but not required)
- Proven interpersonal analytical attention to detail and creative problemsolving skills
- Ability to work with multiple teams with strong leadership skills
- Very good communication skills
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in testing complex systems and business flows
- Strong automation experience with tools like Selenium TestNG JUnit Cucumber
- Scripting/programming experience in Java/Python and PL/SQL
DaytoDay Activities:
- Write scripts to automate testing and create tools for developers to test their own code
- Navigate codebase to identify weak spots and design better ways to break software
- Promote proper engineering practices bug prevention strategies and testability
- Build and maintain automation frameworks from scratch
- Collaborate with project managers product owners and team members to ensure quality
- Conduct serverside automation using Java
- Perform SQL queries and database testing
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and
Qualifications:
- Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
Soft Skills:
- Proven interpersonal analytical attention to detail and creative problemsolving skills
- Ability to work with multiple teams with strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Selfmotivator and selfstarter ability to own and drive tasks without supervision
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
