Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $14.00 hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 20 hours per week
- 100 Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a parttime nonbenefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Explain and demonstrate basic college algebra.
- Assist with test taking strategies (Essential)

- Exihibit a serviceoriented attitude by focusing on helping students succeed in their courses
- Possess awareness & understanding of varying identities and experiences
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills
- Demonstrate dependability
Minimum Requirements
- Proof of understanding of course material evidenced by a minimum grade of B in the course (or equivalent coursework) for which you will tutor
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
