Job Description

We are looking for responsible purposedriven drivers who believe all children have the right to safe and reliable access to their education.
Your Role as a Driver:
- Drive K12 students safely and reliably to and from school
- Create a positive kind and welcoming environment for children
- Communicate consistently with parents caregivers and school staff
- Be available from MONDAY FRIDAY6:009:00amand 1:304:30pm on weekdays
Requirements:
- You are at least 18 years old with a valid drivers license and safe driving record
- You have at least 1 year of meaningful caregiving experience
- You have an insured fourdoor vehicle in good condition and a smartphone
- You are able to pass a comprehensive onboarding process including but not limited to fingerprinting drug screening and physical exam
- You arerequired to read write and speak English at a proficient level
About Us:
At Assist Services we eliminate transportation as a barrier to childrens success. We do this by mobilizing outstanding adults like you who want to make a difference. Our drivers transport many schoolage students who are experiencing homelessness living in foster care living with mental or emotional special needs or other circumstances that make traditional yellow school buses a poor transportation option.
We match each student with a parttime driver who takes that student to and from school every day. Many of our drivers are current or former teachers nurses nannies babysitters personal caregivers nursing home aides social workers parents and grandparents who are eager to be a positive influence in their students lives.
