The Role
As a Design Engineer at Micron Technology Inc. you will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products. You will collaborate with Microns global design and verification teams. You will support groups such as Product Engineering Test Probe Process Integration Assembly and Marketing to design products that optimize manufacturing functions and ensure the best cost quality reliability timetomarket and customer satisfaction. We are engaged in developing groundbreaking silicontosystems solutions from technology development and sophisticated memory designs to product development systems design and validation resulting in worldclass memory solutions.
Responsibilities
Contributing to the development of new product opportunities by assisting with the overall design layout verification and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits
Parasitic modeling and assisting in design validation reticle experiments and required tapeout revisions
Lead the layout process including floorplanning placement and routing
Working with Marketing Probe Assembly Test Process Integration and Product Engineering groups to ensure accurate manufacturability of product
Proactively solicit guidance from Standards CAD modeling and verification groups to improve the design quality
Qualifications
5 years of demonstrated experience in analog design and development for volatile or nonvolatile memory technology
Proven ability in modeling and simulation of integrated circuit using SPICE and Verilog
5 years working knowledge of Synopsys and Cadence Virtuoso
BSEE or MSEE in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant Semiconductor Manufacturing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of relevant Semiconductor Manufacturing experience.
5 years of demonstrated ability in product engineering and/or design
3 years of proven experience in parasitic modeling design validation reticle experiments and tapeout revisions.
