Description
PRN position for Technologist Extender who primary focus is to assist Technologists with patients by providing room turnover support and transporting patients into and out of radiographic exam rooms.

Entry level healthcare position providing excellence in patient care and assisting our topnotch CT Technologists.

Job Duties:

Assists technologists in preparing patient for CT procedure(s) and room clean up to effectively maintain workflow. Assists with restocking of examination rooms with supplies necessary for patient care and CT procedure(s). Monitors/coordinates patient transportation to CT rooms patient floors and ED areas and maintains appropriate records/documentation that contributes to the efficiency of the departmental operations. Contributes to the overall quality of service by effectively transporting patients and administering to their needs.

Position Highlights:

  • Schedule: Work on an as needed basis (PRN) to fill in for vacations leave of absence etc.
  • Location: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center WinstonSalem NC

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Patient care experience preferred.

Skills for Success:

  • Ability to communicate verbally nonverbally and by listening effectively and professionally
  • Ability to communicate instructions to patients to level of understanding
  • Ability to prioritize clinical responsibilities
