Job Summary:

We at Professional Tools are seeking a talented Engineer to join our Product Design team contributing to both New Product Design and Sustenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and communication skills along with handson experience in CAD software (preferably Solid Edge)

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Understand & deploy CAD / Drawing related best practices in the design
  • Conversion of 2D design into 3D Designs through Team Center
  • Deal with regular Engineer Change Requests (ECR) / Engineer Change Notes (ECN)
  • Support CAD activities for sustaining NPD Cost saving or Quality Improvement projects with basic considerations of DFMA.
  • Work on CAD development to build functional design with basic considerations of DFMA.
  • Basic awareness on GD&T / Stackup Analysis
  • Effective verbal as well as written communication with all the project stakeholder
  • Work on building & Testing of functional prototypes and evaluate test results.
  • Understanding of work priorities & of tasks per customer expectations

You relate comfortably with people across levels functions cultures and geography. You are selfmotivated dedicated team orientated should drive for result and individuals who can achieve the set goals. You are interested in learning problem solving and you collaborate with other function groups such as Electronics Hardware Firmware and Sourcing Teams.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering Graduate with good academic record.
  • Minimum work experience of 0 to 2 years after graduation.
  • Possess good CAD knowledge (Preferred Solid Works).
  • Knowledge on Casting Plastic or forging part design consideration will be preferred.
  • Good in communication to convey ideas & thoughts for global clients.
  • Quick Learner.
