Position Overview: The Retail Store Manager is a vital part of the store leadership team responsible for the daily operations ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive motivating store environment. You will be tasked with managing staff assisting with inventory control and contributing to sales targets and overall store performance. This role is essential for creating an enjoyable and effective shopping experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Staff Management: - Assist in recruiting training and developing team members to deliver highquality customer service.
- Provide direction and support to store associates ensuring they meet sales goals and operational standards.
- Act as a mentor and role model to encourage a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
Customer Service Excellence: - Ensure customers receive personalized and knowledgeable service to meet their soccer needs.
- Address customer concerns complaints and issues resolving them in a timely and professional manner.
- Promote a customerfirst approach to all sales associates and lead by example.
Sales & Financial Performance: - Assist in achieving and exceeding sales targets through effective merchandising upselling and promotions.
- Analyze daily weekly and monthly sales reports to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Help drive store profitability through effective inventory management and cost control.
Operations & Inventory Management: - Oversee inventory control including receiving stocking and organizing products on the sales floor.
- Ensure that store standards are met regarding product displays signage cleanliness and store appearance.
- Assist with stock replenishment and product ordering in collaboration with the Store Manager.
Marketing & Promotions: - Assist in the of local marketing efforts and store promotions including events product launches and seasonal sales.
- Foster strong community relationships to promote brand visibility and customer loyalty.
Store Compliance & Safety: - Ensure the store complies with all company policies procedures and safety standards.
- Conduct regular store audits to maintain stock integrity and operational standards.
Qualifications: - 3 years of retail management experience preferably in a sports or soccerrelated environment.
- College degree preferred; High school or GED required.
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Passion for soccer and understanding of soccer products gear and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask manage time effectively and work in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management software.
