About Cottage Pet Hospital:

Cottage Pet Hospital has proudly served the Anaheim community with exceptional veterinary care and a warm familylike atmosphere. Were seeking a motivated and experienced Practice Manager to lead our team streamline operations and help take our hospital to the next level of excellence.

Position Overview:

The Practice Manager plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the daytoday operations of the hospital run smoothly and efficiently. This individual will manage staff oversee financial and operational performance and collaborate with the medical team to deliver highquality care and an excellent client experience.

Strong financial acumen leadership skills and a deep understanding of veterinary or healthcare operations are essential to thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the hospital ensuring exceptional service and patient care.

  • Supervise train and support staff in all departments; lead with empathy and accountability.

  • Manage hospital financials including budgeting forecasting payroll accounts receivable/payable and inventory control.

  • Analyze financial reports and KPIs to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with the veterinarian(s) and department leads on strategic initiatives and hospital goals.

  • Develop and implement policies SOPs and staff scheduling to improve workflows and client satisfaction.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.

  • Handle client concerns and support a culture of open respectful communication.

  • Participate in marketing efforts and community outreach to grow the hospitals presence.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of veterinary healthcare or small business management experience.

  • Proven track record in financial management budgeting and P&L responsibility.

  • Strong leadership organizational and problemsolving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in veterinary software (e.g. Cornerstone AVImark or similar) is a plus.

  • Bachelors degree in business healthcare administration or related field preferred.

  • CVPM certification is a plus but not required.
