Key duties and responsibilities
Receipt of required data for the preparation of BookKeeping and periodic primary
statements namely P&L account Balance sheet Cashflows & notes as
appropriate.
Analysis of bank transactions and processing them on accounting platform/excel.
Analysis and processing of invoices expenses and other transactions.
Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses FAR & Revaluations.
Understanding of cash capital & Dividend movements
Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Intercompany transactions)
Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
Preparation & reporting of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs
mainly in IFRS US GAAP.
Exposure to payroll accounting posting journal entries & VAT/GST
calculations/returns.
Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore Client Auditor and
Director.
Qualification and Experience
Qualification CA CPA ACCA MBA (Finance) CFA or any course specialized in
Accounting/Finance
Experience of 05 years in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP is preferred)
Skills Required
Strong accounting knowledge.
Excellent understanding of Journal entries.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Attention to details.
Willingness to learn.
Flexibility to work long hours & weekend working (If necessary).
Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel & Word is mandatory).
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good knowledge in capital market derivatives Private equity fund Hedge funds
etc.
