Job Description
Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a talentedFinance Program Analystto support programs in the Aerospace Business Area. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Lead in the planning tracking analysis and reporting of the Common Hypersonic Glide Body.This is a critical role where you will work alongside the Finance Lead in the development and all aspects of financial accounting including the Annual Operation Planning (AOP) and financial forecasting for the program.
The successful candidate will report to the Hypersonic Systems Division Finance & Business Operations Manager and work onsite 100 from our Huntsville AL location.
This is a midlevel individual contributor role and the actual salary is closer to the middle of the posted pay range.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include EAC management budgeting forecasting managing subcontractor hours costs and funding needs as well as analysis of all contract cost and financial data.
- Developing and driving financial forecasts and analyzing the programs revenue and costs
- Communicating key business insights and recommendations to achieve the programs current and future goals and making specific recommendations that will result in cost reduction and profit/process improvements.
- Participate in the scheduling planning tracking analysis and reporting of the travel dollars on the program.
- Provide backup and calculation of accruals every period.
- Supporting program invoicing.
- Managing the monthend close process and performing variance/trend analyses as it relates to the financial performance.
- Provide data and reporting formats for all types and levels of program financial reviews.
- The position requires strong organization analytical communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Successful candidate must evaluate monitor and implement policies practices and functional performance standards.
- Significant interface with the Program Managers Contracts FP&A IT Logistics Procurement Quality and other Support organizations.
- In addition candidate must possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment with various organizational levels and manage multiple priorities.
- Candidate will help drive innovation and automation.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and 4 years of program financerelated experience.
- Extensive knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP FPLOE T&M Cost Plus and hybrid contracts.
- Analytical with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work 100 onsite from Huntsville AL (no relocation assistance is available at this time).
- US citizenship is required with an active Secret security clearance (or able to obtain and maintain one).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Leidos financial systems and applications; such as OAC Fusion Insight Cost Point and Cognos.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications; such as Excel PowerPoint and Word.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72150.00 $130425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
