About the role

Were looking for a Credit Officer Legal Partnerships on a 12month fixed term to contribute to the success of the Company by directly ensuring that the companys cash flow is optimised and bad debt is minimised.

Youll manage cases referred to thirdparty legal partners ensuring compliance and optimal debt recovery. Daytoday you will:

As a Credit Officer Legal Partnerships you will oversee the referral and progression of legal cases to external partners managing all aspects of the debt recovery process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the progression of cases with law firms debt collection agencies and government bodies

  • Supporting the Legal Partnerships Manager to drive debt recovery strategies through legal notices court proceedings and other recovery methods

  • Monitoring and reporting on case progress ensuring timely resolutions and adherence to internal procedures

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance recovery rates and reduce outstanding debts

  • Liaising with internal teams and legal partners to align legal actions with broader business goals

  • Youll also be responsible for maintaining strong communication with stakeholders ensuring compliance with legal obligations and managing risk throughout the collections process


This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences including:

  • A keen interest in legal collections and an ability to work in a dynamic collaborative environment

  • You dont need to be a legal expert but you should bring transferable skills in managing complex processes problemsolving and working with external partners

  • Whether you have a background in legal support debt recovery or a related field a curious mindset and the ability to learn quickly will help you thrive

  • Youll be working in a fastpaced goaloriented environment so an analytical approach to decisionmaking and a proactive attitude towards improving processes are essential

  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels both internally and externally
