Are you a skilled and experienced nurse or midwife with a passion for leadership We are looking for an Associate Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager to join our team. About the Role:
The Associate Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager provides nursing and midwifery services across various health service settings. At this level you will be responsible for consolidating your experience and skills further developing your capabilities from competent to proficient. This role involves accepting accountability for your practice standards delegating tasks and providing guidance and development to less experienced staff members. You will also play a key leadership role working in partnership with the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent providing valuable support in the management and leadership of the nursing or midwifery team.
In this role you will promote continuity and consistency of care working collaboratively with other AN/MUM and the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent to ensure patients receive highquality seamless care. You will assist in the implementation of practice changes to ensure the delivery of best practices and continuous improvement across the team. Additionally you will support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in various management responsibilities including performance management recruitment staffing and attendance management. You will also assist with rostering work allocation and leave management to ensure adequate staffing levels and smooth operations within the unit or service. Furthermore you will contribute to financial and supplies planning ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and within budgetary constraints. As a leader you will provide guidance and support to less experienced staff helping them grow professionally and enhancing their clinical skills.

Applicant Information
This is a part time vacancy working 64 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
