Job Description

Registered Nurse MedSurg Unit $20000 Sign On Bonus

Our Client: Our Client is a fullservice healthcare provider that has been serving the Lake City community for over 20 years.

The Position: Our Client is seeking a qualified medsurg registered nurse. The ideal candidate will coordinate and deliver high quality patientcentered care. Our Client is offering the following benefits and compensation:

  • Up to $43.20 per hour depending on experience
  • Shift Diff: $4.25 for nights and $2.00 weekends

Job Responsibilities:

  • Available Shifts:
    • Days (Rotating Weekends) Urgent Need
    • Nights (Rotating Weekends)
  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation
  • Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
  • Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
  • Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety.
  • Ensure effective care and use of time supplies and equipment.
  • Educate patients regarding their medications procedure and treatments providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

Job Requirements:

  • 1 year of Recent (within the last year or 2 RN ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE (Would Consider speaking with someone that has LTAC or Rehab experience but they need to have acute care experience in their background)
  • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
  • BLS (AHA Healthcare provider) required within 30 days from start
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • ACLS required within 6 months
