Welcome to Central Maine Medical Center Pediatric Hospitalists!
We are excited for your interest and are seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join our Pediatric Hospitalist team. Our PediatricHospitalist Program is heavily newborn medicine focused. We manage an active wellbaby nursery with approximately 900 births/year and attend deliveries as needed. We have a Level II NICU and enjoy caring for premature infants 32 weeks and older. We also have a small pediatric inpatient service and provide pediatric consultations in the ED as needed. It is a very interesting and rewarding job especially if you enjoy caring for newborns. We pride ourselves on having current evidencebased clinical guidelines to help guide our excellent care. We will consider candidates seeking full or part time employment.
Our group enjoys having a teaching service made up of 3rd year medical students from the University of New England and 1st year family medicine residents from our own CMMC FP residency.
