Job Description
- Develop new designs for structures and hydraulic systems in the turbine package using fundamentals like free body diagrams risk analysis hand calculations and finite element analysis working with assembly technicians and CAD designers and presenting designs in design reviews.
- Review safety of the design and safety of the assembly operations and disposal of the design.
- Learn what Codes standards and regulations apply to your designs and ensure compliance
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Enrolled in an undergraduate Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering program and have a Junior/Senior status by fall of 2025.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a workauthorized visa.
- Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete preemployment drug screen and background check
- 02 years of related experience.
- 3D CAD experience preferably with SolidWorks and/or Inventor.
- Experience with various metal fabrication methods.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to effectively document and present information to a variety of internal and external groups.
- High degree of mechanical aptitude.
