Our Early Development team focuses on Phase I and IB trials which represent the first practical tests of a compounds clinical relevance and commercial viability. They are the culmination of years or even decades of research. Moreover they set the stage for subsequent studies that will ultimately determine your compounds efficacy safety and positive impact on patients lives.
As a Lab Services Assoiate you will receive lab samples and check them in daily enter data accurately and track samples. You will also assure accurate documentation and notification to supervisor project managers and clients as well as provide clerical and administrative support to the department.
Coordinates and performs all administrative functions related to project management sample management scheduling client communication technical documentation and other project management tasks.
Interacts and communicates with project team in supporting their administrative needs and meeting project timelines.
Contacts central lab sites to followup on services provided and to monitor and increase customer satisfaction.
Quality checks and reviews reports and evaluates against source documents for accuracy of transcription.
Creates forms and performs other word processing assignments (correspondence meeting minutes etc..
Receives and logs into LIMS database daily shipments of samples for analysis assuring proper storage and notification of receipt to clients and project leaders.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification technical positions may require a certificate
Experience
Previous experience that provides the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year) or equivalent combination of education training & experience.

Work is performed in a clinical environment.
Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently stands twists waists squats and bends neck for 46 hours per day.
Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast simple repeated movements of the fingers hands and wrists. Ability to make precise coordinated movements of the fingers to grasp and manipulate objects.
Frequent mobility required.
Occasional crouching stooping bending and twisting of upper body and neck.
Moderate lifting (or otherwise movement carrying setting and placement) of 1530 lbs. with a maximum lift of 35 lbs.
Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both inhouse and offtheshelf.
Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
