Job Description
Work Flexibility: HybridTravel Percentage: 20
What will you do
Develop and executetest plans test cases and test scriptsfor embedded software.
Performfunctional integration regression and systemlevel testingon embedded systems.
Automate test cases usingscripting languageslikePython or Bash.
Utilizedebugging and hardware toolssuch asJTAG programmers oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Analyze and understandhardware schematicsto aid in debugging and test development.
Document test results generate reports and ensure propertraceability using JIRA and Jama.
Collaborate with developers and Test leads to improve testability.
Participate in Test Planning system test strategy methodology and creation of system integration test cases and make them traceable back to the system requirements feature lists and design documents.
What You need:
Basic Qualifications:
6 years of experience intesting embedded systems microcontrollers and microprocessors.
Strong proficiency inC C and Pythonfor testing and automation.
Handson experience withdebugging and communication tools(JTAG UART CAN etc..
Familiarity withversion control systemslikeGit.
Understanding ofcommunication protocols(SPI I2C UART CAN).
Ability to read and interpret schematicsfor embedded hardware debugging.
Strong analytical skills & strong problemsolving skills to be able to translate from system requirements and use cases to detailed test cases and to participate in troubleshooting of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
Familiar with setting up of test environment for V&V activities
Preferred Qualification:
Strong communication skills
Experience withJIRA for defect tracking and test management.
Knowledge ofJama for requirements and test case traceability.
Knowledge ofsafetycritical standardssuch asIEC 62304.
