Theeducational interpreters primary function is to facilitate communication between the deafstudent their hearing peers the classroom teacher and other educational staff. Other jobrequirements may include support (under the supervision of the classroom teacher or TOD) preteachingsigns and concepts related to unit vocabulary and test reading.
