PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK
Position performs advanced technical electronic electrical and mechanical work involved in testing adjusting repairing and performing preventative maintenance on control system instruments and devices at water treatment or wastewater treatment plants. Employee is responsible for formulating plans participating in and keeping records of regularlyscheduled maintenance programs. Incumbents work around potentially hazardous equipment and may be subject to 24hour call in emergency situations and/or on a regular rotation basis of roughly one week per month.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school supplemented by technical training in the field of electrical electronic and mechanical control instruments and systems and considerable experience working as an instrument mechanic.
TYPE OF EXAMINATION Examination will be a multiplechoice test.
