About Us:
Join our innovative team as a UI/UX Designer where youll play a pivotal role in crafting engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our automated contract review solution. Revolutionize the review of insurance and indemnification clauses in commercial contracts. We are a dynamic startup and this role is essential in supporting our short medium and longterm goals potentially leading to an external sale process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Prototyping:Create wireframes mockups and prototypes to visualize design concepts and user flows ensuring a seamless user journey.
- Visual Design:Develop visually appealing designs that align with the brand identity and enhance the overall user experience.
- User Research:Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights into user needs behaviors and pain points applying findings to inform design decisions.
- Collaboration:Work closely with product managers developers architects and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible aligned with product goals and meet customer requirements.
- Design Systems:Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products and streamline the design process.
- Industry Trends:Stay updated on industry trends best practices and emerging technologies in UI/UX design applying new techniques to enhance design.
Scope & Dimensions:
- Play a critical role as a member of the team ensuring an optimal overall user experience.
- Build relationships with the Customer Service Manager and the Product Owner.
- Engage in internal communication with corporate functions (e.g. Insurance Communications) and external communication with customers (e.g. Brokers Advisors Developers).
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design HumanComputer Interaction or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in UI/UX design preferably in a startup or fastpaced environment.
- Extensive portfolio showcasing previous design work including wireframes prototypes and visual design.
- Proficiency in Figma and ideally Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent understanding of usercentered design principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with frontend development technologies (e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript) to facilitate effective collaboration with development teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience in designing for SaaS products or enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and design sprints.
