Role Security Analyst
The opportunity
We are looking for a Data Security Operations Analyst to join the Data Security Operations team. The goal of the Data Security Operations team is to prevent detect and respond to signals of sensitive data leakage affecting our guests partners and employees. The team is responsible for the operational response to identified data leakages and coordinating remediation efforts with other business units across the organization. Continuous improvement on detection and response capabilities is key and analysts must have a proactive and diligent approach to this work. The Data Security Operations team is part of the Security department within Technology.

Job Description
We are seeking Data Security Operations Analysts who are motivated to take ownership for an array of core tasks as well as coordinating incidents internally across the business to ensure consistent and structured response and remediation of data leakages. Analysts investigate signals and reports of data leakages and coordinate the response actions needed to resolve and remediate the identified issue. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated selfstarter with a wide analytical skill set and understanding of relevant Privacy legislation with practical experience of incident response preferably in security/fraud. You can craft and run queries to get relevant data and are both experienced and effective when analyzing big data sets. You are a top performer with the capacity to communicate effectively as well as manage stakeholders and translate complex datadriven findings into business strategies with senior leaders.
Responsibilities
Analyze signals of data leakage and perform response actions where necessary;
Coordinate large scale incident response with business units across the organization where necessary;
Transform data into insights to identify and quantify opportunities to reduce instances of data leakage;
Develop and provide reporting to management that highlights trends in data leakage across teams business units and the associated risks;
Support the Data Security product teams in the development of new tools and detection techniques for use in data leakages detection/prevention;
Provide training and support to relevant stakeholders;
Raise awareness across the business regarding sensitive data leakage and the responsibilities of all employees to report instances of data leakage;
Contribute or lead other projects which reduce data leakage while maintaining focus on a positive customer and employee experience;
Contribute to growth through interviewing onboarding or other recruitment efforts. Skills and competencies
Understanding of concepts around privacy and risk management;
Experience responding to incidents from start to finish is a must;
Ability to create modify and execute SQL and Hadoop database queries to retrieve and analyze large data sets;
Excellent stakeholder management experience;
Highly motivated and resultsfocused individual with solid business understanding;
Selfstarter able to work independently enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives;
Ability to prioritize incoming escalations and requests appropriately using established impact frameworks;
The capacity to adapt to our fastpaced environment while instantly providing effective output;
Great communication questioning and problemsolving skills;
Handson mentality;
Fluent in English writing and speaking;
Knowledge of the travel industry is a plus.
