Johns Hopkins Community Physicians is seeking a qualifiedSpanish speaking bilingual interpreter for the Bilingual Medical Office Assistantposition at our East Baltimore Medical Center Pediatrics practice.In partnership withBaltimore Medical System another local health system that provides muchneeded healthcare services to the community. The Bilingual Medical Office Assistant in the managed care practice provides for the smooth flow of patients through the practice for the proper disposition of telephone calls that are received by and originate from the practice and for the coordination of patient appointments and correspondence. Offers friendly courteous assistance to every customer to ensure that they have a positive professional experience while at JHCP.

Location: 1000 East Eager St Baltimore MD 21202

Shift: Nonexempt. Fulltime 40 hours per week MonFri

What Youll Need to be Successful:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two years work experienced preferred.
  • If bilingual must successfully pass the required JHM approved designated language assessment prior to receiving employment. Successful candidates must complete all required training within 30 days of hire.Must successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role. Includes but not limited to: Electronic medical record training Insurance trainingfoundations government and commercial.

Salary Range: Minimum16.86per hour Maximum27.84per hour.Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
