Job Description:
the Senior Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for superving individual(s) typically consisting of MFG assembler technicians and other support level employees. Other duties including:
- Leading directing and reviewing the work of direct report(s) to maintain workflow and productivity and ensure weekly objectives are achieved.
- Provideon the floor engineering and technical support to the operators and particiaptes in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provideinput on hiring firing promotion performance and/or compensation decisions for own organization.
Essential Functions:
- Determine root cause of failures and drive corrective actions
- Collectquality related data and offers corrective action(s) to help eliminate future defects from occurring
- Measureperformance against process requirements and provides coaching
- Participatein process improvement activities
- Provide direction on workload and job assignments
- Explainand interpretpolicies practices and procedures of the area of responsibility to others within the organization
- Coach and mentor support level employees using established guidelines procedures policies and training
- Support OT (nights weekends extended hours) as needed to meet schedule requirements
- Able to lift 40 lbs work with and around chemicals and with small parts using magnification
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant manufacturingexperience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relatedmanufacturingexperience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related manufacturing experience
- 4 years experience in a supervisory or lead capacity supporting employee and process development
Additional Skills:
- Ability and qualifications to build cable harnesses to drawing and workmanship requirements
- Knowledge of cable manufacturing techniques and IPC/WHMAA620 class 3 workmanship requirements.
- Advanced technical and operational knowledge and experience of manufacturing of highly technical devices.
- Experience with SAP ME SAP ECC and Teamcenter.
- Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling prioritizing coaching and process .
- Demonstrates ability to comprehend schematics wire lists wire diagrams and blueprints
