What Youll Be Doing

• System Design: Create sophisticated mechanical systems for industrial automation including conveyors and robotic EOAT

• 3D Modeling: Developed detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks

• Component Engineering: Select and specify mechanical components from bearings to pneumatic systems

• Manufacturing Liaison: Collaborate with machine shops for custom part production

• Crossfunctional Integration: Work alongside electrical and controls engineers

• Handson Development: Participate in mechanical assembly testing and troubleshooting

• Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive BOMs assembly instructions and maintenance manuals

• Field Support: Assist with installation and commissioning at client sites

Core Skills and Qualifications

Required:

• 5 years of mechanical design experience

• 5 years of SolidWorks proficiency

• 3 years of industrial automation experience

• Expert knowledge of manufacturing processes

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and pneumatics

• Proven experience with conveyor and material handling system design

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting abilities

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printing

• GD&T expertise

• FEA and structural analysis skills

• FANUC or ABB robotic system integration experience

• Hydraulic system design knowledge

• Lean Manufacturing and DFM principles

• Vendor/supplier relationship management experience

Location & Work Model

• Based in Sarasota/Manatee County FL

• Inperson position

• Travel required (up to 30 primarily domestic with occasional international)

• Standard 8hour shift schedule
