LINDERA founded in 2017 is a pioneer in addressing the critical challenge of fall prevention among the aging population through advanced Computer Vision AI technology. Despite progress in elder care falls remain a leading cause of injury among seniors leading to decreased mobility loss of independence and a heavy burden on healthcare systems. Traditional methods for assessing fall risk often require specialized equipment and expertise limiting their accessibility.
At LINDERA we (r)evolutionize fall prevention by leveraging AIdriven 3D motion analysis utilizing everyday smartphone cameras to analyze gait parameters. Our solution democratizes access to advanced gait analysis allowing for accurate early detection of fall risks and personalized intervention strategies ultimately improving the safety and quality of life for the elderly. Tasks
The Role
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer AI Integration Engineer you will be instrumental in developing AI solutions and integrating them into our production environments and on mobile devices. You will work on making our innovative AI models accessible and impactful in realworld healthcare applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop optimize and integrate AI and deep learning models particularly in computer vision into production and mobile environments.
- Utilize inference platforms such as ONNX and TensorRT to deploy AI models efficiently.
- Write and maintain productionready code in Python focusing on performance and reliability.
- Maintain and improve our codebase to meet daytoday goals and ensure seamless integration with our technology stack.
- Come up with smart ways to acquire visualize explore and clean up large heterogeneous data to enhance model performance and usability.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams such as clinical R&D specialists product and software engineers presenting your ideas supporting other computer vision engineers data scientists and fostering a teamplayer environment with your solution driven mindset.
- Ensure seamless integration of AI models into userfacing solutions troubleshooting and refining as needed.
Requirements
Your Profile
- A degree (BSc or MSc) in Computer Science Mathematics/Statistics Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in AI deep learning or computer vision with a focus on realworld model integration.
- Good knowledge of AI/ML solutions algorithms and best practices with the ability to apply them to solve complex problems.
- Experience working with large heterogeneous datasets with a strong ability to manipulate analyze and derive insights from data.
- Proficiency in Python with handson experience using deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and inference platforms like ONNX and TensorRT.
- Familiarity with app & software development (Kotlin Swift and Rust) is a plus.
- Familarity with MLOps (DVS) and DevOps Engineering tools like Docker Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline like Gitlab runners.
- A collaborative mindset excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
- Willingness to work onsite in Berlin 3 days a week.
