Job Overview:
As a Digital Transformation Client Partner you will play a pivotal role in identifying fostering and incubating largescale digital transformation projects for government entities both at the central and state levels. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and nurture relationships with seniorlevel officers within the government understand their pain points and challenges and propose innovative digital solutions that can have a substantial impact on government services and citizens lives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Government Engagement:
Engage with Senior Government Officials: Build and maintain strong relationships with seniorlevel officers and decisionmakers in government departments ministries and agencies of Central and few States.
Understand Government Pain Points: Conduct indepth discussions and needs assessments to identify pain points challenges and opportunities within the governments operations and service delivery.
2. Opportunity Identification:
Identify Digital Transformation Opportunities: Stay updated on emerging technologies and their applications. Proactively identify areas where digital transformation projects can enhance government services improve efficiency and benefit citizens.
Analyze Data and Trends: Utilize datadriven insights and industry trends to recommend and prioritize digital transformation initiatives.
Analyse government plans: Go through the plan documents of various departments to identify are priority areas/sectors and opportunities.
3. Solution Proposals:
Develop Project Proposals: Collaborate with our CTO and technology team to conceptualize and develop project proposals that address government challenges and leverage emerging technologies.
Present Solutions: Effectively communicate project proposals to government stakeholders highlighting the potential impact and benefits.
4. Relationship Management:
Nurture Client Relationships: Continuously engage with government clients to build trust provide updates and ensure their needs are met.
Networking: Cultivate and expand your network within the government ecosystem including industry associations partner organizations and relevant forums.
5. Business Acumen:
BusinessLevel Understanding of Technologies: Stay informed about new and emerging technologies their applications and their relevance to government operations.
Financial Acumen: Understand the financial aspects of project proposals including budgeting costbenefit analysis and return on investment.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Business Public Administration Technology etc.. A Masters degree is a plus.
Proven experience 15 years) working in a clientfacing role preferably in government consulting technology solutions or digital transformation.
Indepth knowledge of government processes policies and operations.
Strong understanding of emerging technologies such as AI IoT blockchain and their potential applications in the public sector.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of building and maintaining relationships at senior levels.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data trends and government challenges to propose effective solutions.
Proactive and selfmotivated with a resultsoriented approach.
Existing connections and relationships within the government sector are highly desirable.
Reporting:
This position will report to the CEO of Wadhwani Government Digital Transformation unit of Wadhwani Foundation which helps governments on their Digital Transformation journey on probono basis.
Location: Delhi
The position may require travel within India to engage with government clients at both central and state levels.
