Job Description

OT Specialist Immediate Start Available FullTime FMLA Coverage

Our Organization is partnering with an exceptional Illinois School District that is looking to contract a fulltime Occupational Therapist. We do our part by providing our therapists with unmatched career opportunities compensation and personalized service that goes beyond job placement.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed assessments to evaluate clients functional physical and sensorymotor abilities.
  • Design and execute personalized therapy plans tailored to clients individual needs and objectives.
  • Partner with families caregivers educators and multidisciplinary teams to foster client growth and achievement.
  • Deliver therapy sessions aimed at enhancing motor skills sensory integration selfcare abilities and daily living activities.
  • Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings contributing to the creation of goals and treatment plans.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to stay informed about the latest techniques and innovations in occupational therapy.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments treatment plans progress notes and required reports in line with professional standards.
  • Guide clients and families by providing practical strategies and recommending adaptive tools to promote independence across various settings.

Requirements

  1. Hold a state certification with an OT endorsement.
  2. Possess an active Illinois Occupational Therapy license.
  3. Previous experience in occupational therapy ideally with children of varying abilities.
  4. Have at least a Master s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
