Accountant assists in managing financial records preparing financial reports and conducting reconciliations supporting senior accounting staff and ensuring accurate financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records.
Record and summarize financial transactions.
Post and process journal entries.
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
Maintain accounts payable.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledgers.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
Prepare and analyze balance sheets.
Assist with monthend and yearend close processes.
Prepare and file tax returns and filings.
Compliance and Audits:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Assist with audits and internal control procedures.
Other Tasks:
Assist with payroll processing.
Support senior accountants.
Manage accounts payable and receivables.
Conduct bank reconciliations.
Assist with other accounting projects.

Work experience as an Accountant. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
