Magenta LLC is a leading provider of innovative injection molded products and packaging solutions delivering highquality products to healthcare pharmaceutical food & beverage and personal care industries. Magenta offers design prototyping manufacturing assembly and decoration services while adhering to GMP standards.
Position Summary
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of operations for a Magenta LLC. This role requires a handson leader with deep industry knowledge operational expertise and a track record of driving profitability efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive strategic growth and operational excellence within the medical injection molding industry.
- Lead crossfunctional teams with a focus on innovation quality and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations ensuring efficiency safety and compliance with quality standards.
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets financial reporting and cost control strategies to drive profitability.
- Develop and execute sales strategies; build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure market competitiveness.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 AS9100D and other regulatory requirements.
- Foster a highperformance culture through effective hiring mentoring and talent development.
- Champion technology adoption including ERP/MRP systems and innovative manufacturing solutions.
Experience Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree in business administration operations management engineering or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 710 years of leadership experience in plastic injection molding or a related manufacturing industry. Working with the medical industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven experience managing P&L budgets and financial performance in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams and drive operational excellence.
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ISO certifications (ISO 13485 AS9100D etc. and compliance standards.
- Masters degree in business administration or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems CRM software and other business management tools. Experience with IQMS is a significant plus.
- Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
- Experience with implementing new manufacturing technologies to improve operational performance.
