WHO YOU ARE:
As the Senior Manager Security Operations youd join our growing InfoSec team helping to build a robust security culture managing and delivering the security operations function at Zinnia. Youd work very closely with our Information Technology (IT) and Platform teams to ensure Zinnia is doing all we can to protect the companys and our customers data.
You will have the mindset of a technology partner and enabler who is seen as a trusted adviser and coach. You will be able to educate advise on system design implement/configure/monitor security tools and help drive an appreciation for security. WHAT YOULL DO:
- Coach direct report(s) by providing clear guidance and expectations to enable team success and achievement of objectives
- Lead a team that monitors analyzes and reports on security detections across all infrastructure (workstations servers and cloud)
- Set and execute strategy for Security Operations that includes items such as log collection detection approach and detection practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to further security investigations and resolve incidents acting as the lead in incident response
- Partner with the infrastructure platforms and software engineering organizations to monitor and ensure security vulnerabilities are patched
- Work with management and business leaders to fulfill IT Security strategy
- Work in matrix reporting environment including having technical roles (dotted line) reporting into you as the most senior role in our India region
WHAT YOULL NEED:
- 12 years of experience in a Security function including at least 5 years in security operations
- 5 years of IT Security Leadership experience (management director VP level roles)
- Experience with compliance and control frameworks such as NIST PCI SOC 1/2 etc.
- Experience working with an MDR/XDR provider architecting or engineering security solutions related to (not all required but more the better): SecureWorks Red Canary Expel Carbon Black CrowdStrike etc.
