Description:
- Perform as an integral part the program to provide the children with a safe caring positive learning environment.
- Work with county state and other social workers in developing and implementing a therapeutic treatment plan.
- Conduct childrens individual and group therapy.
- Maintain awareness of all contracting requirements as they pertain to social services or therapy requirements.
- Assist with childrens referrals and intake.
- Assess independent living skills of children.
- Assist with parent training plan organize and complete projects as assigned.
- Coordinate and support discharge planning.
- Function as liaison for childrens community involvement.
- Assist in developing behavior management programs.
- Physically contain and/or escort acting out children.
- Move between buildings on grounds in all types of weather.
- Supervise agency following chain of authority guidelines.
- Verified masters degree in social or behavioral science field.
- Drivers license and State of Wisconsin minimum insurance coverage.
- Background and application check satisfactory to state licensing requirements.
- Ability to obtain State of Wisconsin Counseling Certifications.
- Ability to learn supervisory skills.
