The Opportunity
This project focuses on understanding the financial burden of diagnostics in Africa by analyzing outofpocket (OOP) health expenditures. It will examine the extent of Out of Pocket (OOP) spending insurance coverage gaps and the risk of catastrophic health expenditure. The insights generated will inform policy recommendations business strategies and sustainable interventions to improve access to affordable diagnostics.
Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelors or Masters degree in one of the following fields:
Health Economics IT Informatics Public Health Health Policy Development Economics or a related discipline
Furthermore you are
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills (Required)
Interest in healthcare financing policy analysis and economic modeling (Required)
Experience in statistical analysis and working with large datasets (Preferred)
Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights (Required)
Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement (Required)
Stakeholder management is a plus
