Job Description Senior Shipping Monetization Manager
Position Summary
The Global Monetisation team is responsible for maximising longterm value creation for the company across buyers sellers and partners. As global shipping senior monetisation manager you will be working on innovating and driving one of the most impactful and most sophisticated monetisation levers of eBays commercial strategy driving financial performance and defining the relationships eBay has with its buyers sellers partners representing the firms source of competitive advantage.
What Youll Do
Lead the pricing strategies: Develop shipping pricing strategies that balance both immediate goals and longterm vision of ebays global shipping functions either through resale model (partnering with logistics partners) or principal model (building and operating shipping labels within eBay).
Drive the roadmap: Develop roadmaps for shipping pricing promotions and incentive plan. Optimize and evolve current pricing structure to achieve monetization goals and growth across our most up and coming and mature categories. Ensure success of both sellers and buyers on the platform
Collaborate: Lead the shipping monetization journey and capabilities endtoend by working closely with shipping product team the global shipping BU global markets and country teams marketing legal and finance
Be accountable: Define business objectives and measure progress in achieving results; demonstrate strong dedication towards goals and driving sophisticated projects focused on seller and buyer success platform economics customer experience and longterm success

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of combined relevant ecommerce or industry experience in shipping/logistics pricing product management analytics or finance field
- Previous experience in revenue management and pricing of services with exposure to designing and managing fee/rate cards preferred
- Solid understanding of shipping value chain and logistics field
- Proven experience owning metrics and the delivery of important projects
- Proficient skills in SQL Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Tableau
- Ability to handle delivery in a constantly evolving multinational crossfunctional business
- Energetic flexible and comfortable with dealing through ambiguity in a trustbased human way
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and experience coordinating with crossfunctional teams
