Job Summary/Basic Functions
Model parttime athletic trainers are seasonal or temporary appointments. Athletic trainers will provide medical coverage for Model Laboratory Schools athletic events and studentathletes. Trainers will attend athletic events and if an athlete is injured assess and treat the injury in accordance with athletic training medical practices and/or recommend followup treatment as appropriate. Trainers must be licensed in Kentucky NATABOC certified and show evidence of current liability insurance coverage.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor or Masters degree in athletic training
Experience:
Licensure & Certifications: NATABOC Certification; Kentucky Licensure
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful experience as an athletic training
