The Administrative Assistant Records is a parttime career service position working approximately 25 29 hours per week. This position performs administrative and office duties with considerable latitude for exercising judgment and discretion which includes providing administrative and operational assistance in problemsolving completing projects and daytoday operations of the department. This position prepares check requisitions purchase order requisitions budget amendments travel requests property dispositions and various other forms; assists with confirming Graduation vendors and obtaining necessary documents for payment; monitors and orders departmental and Graduation materials and supplies; maintains departmental and Graduation requisitions supplies and equipment; and provide information and assistance facetoface and via phone to students staff and the public related to college functions procedures and policies. It is essential that this individual maintains confidentiality when handling student record information in accordance with the Family Educational Right to Privacy Act (FERPA). This position reports to the College Registrar.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate degree. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and computer skills required. Ability to work as a member of a team; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
Pursuant to College policy it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of 435.042 Florida Statutes related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.

Hourly Rate: $14.72
