PSM Recruitment are seeking a highly skilled MOT Tester/ Vehicle Technician for a brand new set up garage based in New Romney. If youre passionate about automotive excellence and want to be part of an exciting new venture wed love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- ConductMOT testson cars vans and light commercial vehicles ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Diagnose faultsand carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance to ensure vehicles are in top condition.
- Provide customers with clear and accurate advice on repairs maintenance and MOT results.
- Maintain high standards ofworkshop cleanliness and safety.
- Keep detailed records of work completed including MOT tests repairs and any parts used.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the workshop.
Ideally You Will Have:
- Full MOT Tester qualification(Class 4 and 7.
- Proven experience as aMechanic with strong diagnostic skills and a solid understanding of vehicle repair and maintenance.
- A validdriving licence.
- Strong knowledge ofvehicle systemsandMOT testing procedures.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to delivering highquality customer service and keeping customers informed about the work carried out.
- Attention to detailand a passion for the automotive industry.
Salary 35000 Hours are Monday Friday 8am 5pm could include some Saturdays
