Job Description

Being based in Germany the Account Manager is responsible for driving short and long term sustainable growth in a set of key accounts for NXP within the European Industrial Focus Sales Team.


In this role the Account Manager will define together with the European Sales Industrial Director which customers to focus on depending on the potential to grow NXP business. The Account Manager is fully accountable for the complete Revenue and DWIN results at the customer base to achieve the growth as per NXP corporate targets.


Responsibilities
You will be responsible for a defined number of key accounts in the industrial & IoT market and will be measured on demand creation and revenue growth. The key tasks include:

  • Key account responsibility including owning & driving key account plans for the top customers

  • Building up the customer relationship and interact with the decision maker and top management

  • Set up and drive customer specific sales strategy

  • Identify and win new opportunities while selling the whole portfolio

  • Ensure excellent commercial results per NXP corporate goals

  • Manage NXP internal resources to meet sales goals when needed and to deliver above market growth across the assigned responsibilities

Personal Profile

  • Electrical engineering degree or similar; knowledge about semiconductor products

  • 5 years experience in semiconductor Sales Field Application or Marketing

  • Experience managing and driving complex engagements at customers and channel partners

  • Very strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills in both German and English

  • Ability to explain complex technical contents in a convincing fashion appropriate to the level of the business partner

  • Ability to work in an autonomous way setting the right priorities for NXP business and its customers

  • Strategic thinking & leadership skills to ensure the management of the distribution partners with whom you will work to develop the business at the accounts

  • Ability to deal at all levels at the customers and with local distributors and partners

  • Strong analytical skills to extract customer requirements understand dynamics on crossfunctional basis and identify appropriate solutions

  • High degree of flexibility motivation customer & distribution focus business orientation and networking ability
