KBR is seeking a Ground Systems Engineer to work on complex projects crucial to our national security objectives. They will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services to assist the government in implementing and executing systems engineering processes to integrate ground systems into the operational baseline at a customer facility in Denver CO.

Key Responsibilities:
- Be the trusted advisor: Partner with the government to plan engineer integrate and oversee ground system operations and maintenance ensuring mission success.
- Architect the future: Analyze and document site system architectures while assessing the impacts of system updates and deliveries.
- Foster collaboration: Work seamlessly with Headquarters Directorates site organizations and mission partners to align project requirements and mitigate risks across cost schedule and technical dimensions.
- Deliver excellence: Create and present indepth analyses actionable recommendations strategic plans and polished reports/briefings to empower decisionmaking and drive results.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelors degree in science technology engineering mathematics (STEM) field required (contractual requirement) and nine 9 years or more relevant experience; masters and seven 7 years or more experience.
- Knowledge of customers space and ground domain mission and technical capabilities
- Demonstrated experience with government customers systems engineering mission readiness and project management processes familiar with site mission and ground systems integration procedures.
- Systems engineering background; understanding of systems development life cycle from concept requirements engineering design integration and test deployment maintenance through decommissioning.
- Experience in requirements definition system architectures systems analysis and design interface and data architectures validation and verification.
- Polished communicator and proven collaborator; demonstrated ability to coordinate across all levels of government to ensure contracts effectively deliver required services and capabilities.
- Selfstarter proactively addresses customer requirements with no supervision; expert at defining solutions for broad abstract topics.
- Familiar with modelbased systems engineering and digital engineering concepts and tools; Agile development methodology cloud technologies.
Desired:
- Experience in initiating planning executing monitoring and controlling DoD or Intelligence Community projects or Programs.
- Experience in architecture management baseline audit and verification.
- Familiar with JIRA Confluence.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Basic Compensation: $128300 $192400
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus relocation benefits short term incentives long term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
