Materials Management Operative - Part Time MFD

Avantor is looking for a proactive and dedicated Materials Management Operative to join our team based in Speke Liverpool. In this role youll be responsible for delivering specialist supplies from our onsite store to ensure that laboratorybased scientists have the materials they need to advance science.

This parttime permanent position is based at our Speke facility (Boulevard Industry Park Speke Liverpool L24 9JW) a key location for vaccine production. The Team

Youll work alongside a small supportive and established team collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of goods and excellent customer service. This role is part of our Lab and Production Services department where we support major pharmaceutical companies and laboratories globally within the Research and Development sector of the Life Sciences industry.

What were looking for

• Education: Minimum of GCSE Grade C or above in English Maths and Science (or equivalent)
• Experience:
• Working in a pharmaceutical or sciencerelated company with handson experience in warehouse manufacturing or stores
• Working in a GMP (Good Manufacture Practice) environment
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to work collaboratively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and working with data
• Experience with various computer systems such as Inventory Management System or COUPA

How youll thrive and create an impact

• Ensure the efficient receipt replenishment and distribution of goods utilizing industryleading inventory management technology to track usage and optimize stocking levels
• Deliver stock to customer Points of Use in line with manual handling guidelines and safety protocols
• Perform housekeeping duties support team performance tracking and provide crosstraining support to cover team absences.
• Maintain and update relevant documentation in support of service delivery compliance and training adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Develop strong working relationships with customers and ensure that Avantors service meets their needs through regular review and feedback
