Were working with a wellestablished and highly regarded professional services firm seeking anAgriculture Managerto join its team in Dumfries. This is a key role within a dynamic and clientfocused environment offering the opportunity to lead agricultural accountancy services with a strong focus on quality compliance and efficiency.
Responsibilities Include:
The successful candidate will oversee agricultural workflows ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery to a portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include:
Preparing reviewing and submitting accounts VAT returns and financial documents.
Leading the agricultural team providing guidance and support where needed.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Identifying opportunities to improve departmental efficiencies and client service.
Leveraging your network to identify new business opportunities organically
About you
You are a highly skilled and experienced accountancy professional with a either strong background in agricultural finance OR passionate about the agricultural sector with a deep understanding of the agricultural industry.
While Chartered would be an advantage we would consider nonchartered candidates holding AAT qualifications with relevant experience.
With a focus on digital accounting and future technology you will have a good understanding of cloud based systems such as Xero Sage Quickbooks enabling you to deliver accurate highquality financial services.
Your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Approachable and professional you communicate clearly and effectively collaborating with various functions and stakeholders.
Above all you set high expectations for yourself and those around you. You take pride in delivering exceptional service demonstrating professionalism integrity and respect in every aspect of your work.
