Job Description

TAT Limco in Tulsa OK has an opening for a Brazing Furnace Operator controls and operates electric vacuum furnaces to perform various heattreating requirements. Communicates crossfunctionally between operations engineering quality and core assembly to create a workflow schedule that meets the plant production goals. Works closely with core assembly department to produce quality products.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Reads shop work orders to determine production sequences and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Read blue prints and conduct a visual inspection to insure there are no issues with the core before brazing or heat treating
- Work with Engineering to develop fixtures holding methods or heattreating processes
- Performs preventative maintenance on furnace equipment including cleaning and visual inspection
- Follows all required safety procedures to lockout and protect against confined space problems
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Requires basic computer knowledge and experience in programs such as Microsoft Word Outlook Excel and ability to learn furnace control and monitoring software
- Minimum of two years of Manufacturing experience. Technical school education and brazing furnace operator experience is a plus
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Adhere to rules and regulations of a FAA Safety Sensitive Position
- Ability to work a split shift from MonFri 9AM5:30PM with some overtime as required
- Ability to pass prehire and ongoing random drug testing as required as a Department of Transportation (DOT) facility regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
- Ability to pass prehire background check screening
