Business Data Analyst
Up to 40000 per annum

Mercury Hampton are partnered with a leading supplier and distributor of electronic components providing high quality solutions to industries across the UK and globally. Currently they are searching for a skilled Business Data Analyst to join their growing Finance team.
You will play a critical role in analysing financial and operational data to identify trends and monitor purchasing patterns and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
About the role:
- Analyse financial and operational data to provide actionable insights to the finance team and wider business
- Monitor purchasing patterns and assess the impact of sales campaigns
- Work closely with various departments including sales to understand their data requirements and provide relevant reporting
- Develop and maintain cumulative reports to track business performance over time Utilise CRM system to extract analyse and interpret data
- Present data in a clear and engaging manner using data visualisation tools
- Identify trends and opportunities to drive business efficiencies and profitability
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to support with datadriven decisionmaking.
About you:
- You have several years experience as a Business Data Analyst preferably within a B2B environment
- Bachelors degree in business Analytics Finance Economics Data Science computer Science Mathematics or a related field.
- Ideally you are CIMA qualified or working towards this.
- Excellent analytical skills where you can interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights
- Experience working with CRM systems to extract and analyse data
- Skilled in data visualisation tools (eg Tableau PowerBI or similar)
- Very strong communication skills
