Summary
We currently have an opportunity for an Automation Engineer to join the Electrical Instrumentation and Control (EIC) Team in NSW.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Automation Engineer to join our team! We are a growing function within the company that specializes in Quarry Automation systems using Copadata Zenon software. We are seeking a talented individual who can bring their skills and knowledge to our team and help us continue to provide topnotch automation solutions to our clients.
As an Automation Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining automation systems for our internal customers in the quarry industry. You will work with a team of talented engineers to ensure that our solutions are efficient effective and meet the needs of our customers.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of experience in Automation Engineering with experience in Quarry Automation systems highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming software (Zenon highly desirable Studio 5000 or similar minimum)
- Strong knowledge of SCADA programming software (Zenon highly desirable Citect or similar minimum)
- Ability to adapt and quickly learn Copadata Zenon Supervisor and Zenon Logic utilizing structed text programming.
- Experience in design programming and testing of automation systems (FAT and SAT)
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to travel within Australia
- Ability to work independently and be managed facetoface and remotely
- Sound understanding of safety both electrical and machine safety as well as general risk management process on industrial sites.
