DescriptionThe Senior Talent Programs Specialist will be tasked with overall management of Seaspans Shipbuilding leadership development program. Additionally the successful candidate will provide strategic guidance to our Graduate Development Program and work with the existing Talent Management team to ensure that talent programs from Campus through to senior level leader programs are aligned and complimenting one another.
Note: This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement.
What youll do
- Develops and implements a shipbuildingfocused rotational accelerated leadership program including rotations across various business areas leadership development components and business case curriculum.
- Collaborates with crossfunctional teams to ensure program alignment with organizational goals and shipyardspecific needs.
- Manages the selection onboarding ongoing development and final placement of program participants.
- Partners with business leaders HR and training teams to identify rotation opportunities and align program objectives with business needs.
- Oversees and provides guidance and support to ensure meaningful learning experiences by maintaining detailed records of program participants rotations and outcomes to ensure accountability and transparency.
- Monitors participant performance address challenges and support career planning postprogram completion.
- Assists in the design and delivery of leadership development components incorporating best practices in talent development and learning strategy.
- Integrates feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve the curriculum.
- Communicates program outcomes and successes to leadership providing regular updates and metrics.
- Oversees the potential integration of the new graduate program and other talent initiatives under the rotational program framework.
- Ensures seamless coordination and consistency across all talent programs managed within the team.
What youll bring
- Minimumm of 68 years of experience related to talent development or leadership development design and delivery preferably within large complex organizations.
- Proven track record of designing and managing rotational talent development programs with measurable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of leadership development principles talent development strategies and rotational program structures.
- Strong HR business partnering experience ensuring program participants and leaders are engaged and on track related to program goals.
- Expert with learning tools content development and training methodologies.
- Experience with psychometric assessments or 360s evaluations.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using HRIS and learning management systems (LMS) to track program outcomes and participant progress.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders and employees at all levels of the organization.

The estimated salary for this position is $106900 $128300. In determining final salary Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidates skills and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Companys sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
