Job Description:
We are looking for a detailoriented and analytical Buyer Analyst to join our procurement team. As a Buyer Analyst you will be responsible for conducting market research analyzing supplier performance and supporting the procurement process. Your insights and recommendations will contribute to the efficient and costeffective sourcing of materials and services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about market trends.
- Analyze supplier performance including cost quality and delivery metrics.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders and procurement records.
- Track and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and prevent overstock situations.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers considering quality price and reliability.
- Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify costsaving opportunities and process improvements.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and explore opportunities for partnerships.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure procurement needs are met.
- Provide regular reports and updates on procurement activities to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Buyer Analyst Purchasing Analyst or in a similar procurement role.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes vendor management and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
