Lecturer Education Focused (Anatomy)
- Employment Type: Full time 35 hours a week)
- Duration: 2 Year Convertible Tenure Track
- Remuneration: $123k $145k base 17 super and leave loading)
- Work rights required: Australian/New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident

The School of Biomedical Sciences
As one of the largest teaching schools at UNSW the School of Biomedical Sciences is uniquely placed to inspire the next generation of science and medical graduates. It plays a key role in arming future doctors health practitioners biomedical scientists and a broader community of health professionals each of whom will bring a specialised and diverse skill set to the frontiers of medical science.
The Department of Anatomy at UNSW is internationally recognised for its teaching and research excellence in neuroscience biomechanics anatomical sciences education multidisciplinary imaging and digital technologies. We teach gross anatomy histology and embryology to students from medicine allied health science engineering and beyond. Our aim is to inspire our undergraduate and postgraduate students curiosity in the structure and function of the human body and in related nontraditional disciplineindependent skills. Students learn handson in our technologyenhanced anatomy facilities from the generosity of body donors and innovative use of digital technology and blended learning pedagogy.

Who you are:
- PhD in anatomy and/or medical imaging or medical degree or with relevant work experience.
- Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g. relevant disciplinebased curriculum design and development at a variety of levels and scales).
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry or experience of workintegrated learning (desirable).
- Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity diversity and inclusion initiatives.
