Exciting Opportunity for a Pediatric Hospitalist!

We have an opportunity for a BC Pediatrician who will provide ongoing medical management for acute/episodic rehabilitation patients.

Offering pediatric patients a continuum of comprehensive postacute medical care inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation following an acquired or traumatic brain injury sudden accident or illness this hospital is the national leader in physiciandriven clinical neuroscience.

Our medical model of care supports our patients from the earliest stages throughout the entire recovery process delivering a holistic rehabilitation approach extending beyond traditional physical occupational and speech therapies. Multidisciplinary teams develop individualized treatment plans addressing interpersonal behavioral cognitive physical and emotional issues to ensure underlying challenges are identified making rehabilitation more successful.

About the Position

• Provide ongoing medical management and acute interventions for patients in the postacute care setting working directly with pediatric nurse practitioners within a group setting to provide direct patient care to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities and rehab patients.
• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team to effectively designate processes for meeting the medical and psychosocial needs of the resident and providing updates and evaluating medical treatment plans medications and other necessary care.
• Flexible schedule while doing what you love most providing excellent care.
